ACORN (the Association of Community Organisations for Reform Now) believes in the ability of our communities, organised together, to win social and economic justice. Our mission is to make that happen.

Since 1970, ACORN has organised hundreds of thousands of low and moderate income families into local community unions and won victories passing literally £billions from rich to poor. Today ACORN represents 110,000 members worldwide.

Since May 2014, ACORN has been organising in the UK. Launched in Bristol by 100 members in the Easton neighbourhood, in just a year we've taken on slum landlords, winning 10's of £1000's in repairs and rent reductions and winning the support of landlords, letting agents, politicians, charities, student organisations and others for better housing, as well as winning improved rubbish collections and safer traffic crossings.
